2013 Preschool Spring Program
Micah participated in his first preschool program last Thursday. The story was on "The Prodigal Son" (with a western theme) and it was great fun to sit in the church pews and watch Micah and his preschool friends share God's love with those in attendance. Maple Tree Tapping/Maple Syrup Demonstration
Today we were blessed to go on a field trip to a farm in neighboring community. We drove 1 hour to see a maple syrup demonstration. We helped/saw a maple tree being tapped and learned about making maple syrup from the sap. We even got to take home a pint sized jar of pure maple syrup! Yum!!! We learned lots about making maple syrup. It's a lot of time and hard work, but the product is worth it. God is so amazing!!

Pinewood Derby Day!
Here are some pictures and a video from Scout Pinewood Derby Day. Daddy helped Benjamin design and make his "Delorean" car for the big race. Benjamin placed 17th (out of twenty-something scouts). He was happy that he won a couple of heats and was a good sport during all the racing. As is true to Benjamin's character, he wasn't very animated (even when he did win), but it was a great family day and we all had a good time.
