Our big boy has finally caught on to the idea of feeding himself! Yay!!! Daddy is still at the Annual Minnesota Pastors' Conference (he returns tomorrow afternoon)meanwhile, it is Mommy's job to do everything. So, this morning I strapped our big boy into his high chair and gave him some Mixed Berry Gerber's freeze-dried yogurt bites to calm him down (and hopefully crave his hunger pains a little). He hadn't eaten yet and was very hungry, but I thought it would be safer if I brought down his toys while he was strapped into the seat. That way, there wouldn't be any chance of him trying to follow me up the stairs. So, I gave him two yogurt bites, run upstairs, grab some toys, and run back downstairs. Meanwhile while I was running, our big boy was feeding himself. This is the first time he has fed himself consecutive times in a row; and he's been doing it all day long! I have a feeling life will never be the same again. Praise God for little blessings!
I will have to try and get this on video after Christian returns from his conference. I asked him to take some pictures of the resort in Brainerd. Apparently, they have a total of 5 pools and it's absolutely beautiful! We plan on our whole family making the trip next year!!! God's Blessings on your day!

Cindy!!!
I finally found your blog again! I got your letter in the mail about your Breast Cancer Walk. I'm definitely going to donate!
Your son is amazingly beautiful. So cute...
Tell Christian I say hi! We'll have to catch up one of these days. Good luck on your walk. Perhaps you and your friends could do the Walk For Haiti in Minneapolis this June. Check out www.haitimissionproject. Danielle and Lindsey will be there too. It's only 10k...but fun!
I miss you! And I hope you're all doing well!
LOVE
Rachel
